Sabina Schneider, PhD – Project Manager
Dr. Sabina Schneider is a state certified food chemist and DGK safety assessor for cosmetic products. She is part of our consulting firm since the beginning in 2003. She supports our clients with her long-lasting experience in the marketability of products.
Dr. Sabina Schneider, born in 1964, is a food chemist and studied at the Julius-Maximilians-University in Würzburg. Dr. Schneider completed her first state exams in 1987, following this up with a year of practical experience at the Chemical Diagnostic Office in Hannover, and took her second state exams in 1989. She completed her doctorate in 1992 at the Technical University of Berlin in the field of organic chemistry. Her doctoral thesis addressed the isolation and identification of the odiferous components in essential oils. Dr. Schneider was awarded a scholarship by the Fund of the Chemical Industry. She then worked for several years as an expert for cross-checking at the renowned and accredited food laboratory of Institute Kirchoff in Berlin.
She joined the law firm meyer-meisterernst in 2001, and worked there until 2003 as consultant. Since the foundation of RDA in 2003 - under the former name m//m-science – until the beginning of 2022 she is part of the team The focus of her consulting lies on novel foods, cosmetics, borderline issues and toxicological questions, particularly in crisis situations.
Since 2005 Dr. Schneider is a publicly certified expert for food chemistry by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria (IHK), and an approved cross-checking expert. In addition, she is DGK safety assessor for cosmetic products.
Since May 2022, Dr Schneider has withdrawn from day-to-day business. She supports the RDA as a freelance consultant and project manager in complex procedures.
